Effect of Early Evening Sun on Bales of Hay (Near Saint Fidele, Quebec)
Quebec's Charlevoix region, with its rolling hills, fertile farms, and dense forests, is among Canada's most beautiful regions. As the sun drops lower on the horizon after another long summer day, the shadows cast by the bales of hay lengthen. In the play of the shadows, one can imagine Claude Monet working on one of his many studies of hay.
